Election of Faculty Council
Last month the first Faculty Council Elections for the new Faculty ITC were held on November 25. In January 2010, the ITC will officially become the sixth faculty of Twente University. Over the past few months, ITC staff and students have worked hard to draft new Faculty Council Regulations and Electoral rules, changing in the process from an Employees Council to a Faculty Council. The ITC Faculty Council plans to adopt similar procedures to other faculties where it is possible, following the ITC's course calendar which differs from the UT, cycling from January 1st to December 31st. The five staff and five international student representatives comprise the ITC Faculty Council. All Faculty Council notes and meetings will be in English, as a result of the international nature of the institute. Read the results of the election on www.itc.nl
