A visit to The Event Factory
The Event Factory, which defines itself as the place to plan all your events, can be seen as a reliable stepping stone for international students to access a broad network of contacts, without having to struggle with speaking Dutch. Consulting services are offered for free, and students can converse in English with the staff. `Being International students in Enschede, we don't know people or places to contact about arranging our festivals, which are not common occurrences in our daily lives,'says Abdul Rauf, spokesman for the Pakistani Student Association, who learned about The Event Factory when planning the Kite Flying Festival last spring.
