The European Research Council (ERC) has awarded 20 consolidator grants to experienced researchers in the Netherlands. While this is still a good score, the number is lower than in the previous three years. UT professor Wiebe de Vos is one of the grant recipients this year.

Opnieuw geen ERC Advanced Grant voor UT

De Europese onderzoeksraad ERC heeft 27 advanced grants van maximaal 2,5 miljoen euro toegekend aan onderzoekers van Nederlandse kennisinstellingen. Daarmee kunnen ze de komende vijf jaar aan baanbrekend onderzoek werken. Voor het derde jaar op rij gaat er geen Advanced Grant naar een UT’er.
