Groningen: a city that grows on you
Groningen, the capital of the Dutch province with the same name, is the nerve-center of the northern part of the Netherlands. Even though this city is by no means a large one, with a population of less than 200,000 inhabitants, it has a vibrant atmosphere, thanks in equal parts to the art, architectural and cultural scene, as well as the large student community.
