`The UT is a multi-cultural campus'
Last Thursday in the Zuidhorst building, Chinese students from the department of Polymer Chemistry and Biomaterials held a Chinese Evening to give fellow colleagues the chance to learn about the culture of China. `This is a year of challenge for China. We experienced a snow crisis during the Chinese New Year celebrations, a train accident and now the earthquake. It is a year for the Olympics, and China needs to open the door to welcome people from all over the world,' said Yan Song, a PhD student from the Faculty of Science and Technology, and one of the event's main organizers.
