Music to the ear
Andrew Christanto, founder of the PPI Music Club, Carina Mohede, their female vocalist, Anggera Bayuwindra, guitarist and Bhayu Prasetya on the tifa, a traditional drum from the eastern part of Indonesia, enthralled the audience with a mix of indigenous Indonesian folk songs like `ampar ampar pisang' and western popular songs. Since their inception in 2004, the band has performed at various locations and for charitable causes, including a benefit concert in Munster to raise money for the Indonesian earthquake victims. All the band members are students but despite their hectic schedule, they make time for practice sessions. Their members regularly change but their common love for music helps to keep the band alive.
