The saxophonist and composer Jorrit Dijkstra builds a musical bridge between the Dutch improvisation tradition and the adventurous Chicago jazz scene in a concert presented by the Jazz Podium Drienerlo. The sextet, known on both continents as The Flatlands Collective will be performing a few selections from their CDs Gnomade and Maatjes, along with a few surprises.
