Weekend of Balfolk

Balfolk, a dance event sweeping through Europe combines live folk music, being played on acoustic instruments, with simple folk dances like the bourrees, polka, waltz and jig. Join in a full weekend of dance classes taught by international teachers and choreographed for dancers of any ability level. You do not need to bring a partner along, considering that you will dance every tune with a different partner. If a whole weekend is too much, an open lesson will be offered to teach all the basics on Saturday, starting at 7 pm, admission is free.
