The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) invites international and Dutch students to its first `Country presentation' at the movie theatre in the Vestingbar on Tuesday, February 19. Whet your appetite by sampling the typical-culinary specialties of the Czech Republic, Mexico and the Netherlands. The presentations will be given by natives of each country, who will explore and share with their audience the various cultural, historical, and educational aspects of their homeland. This light-hearted evening is scheduled to begin at 8:30pm.

Studentenwoningmarkt in Enschede relatief ontspannen

Terwijl er landelijk een tekort is van zo’n twintigduizend studentenwoningen, blijkt daar in Enschede geen sprake van te zijn. Dat laat de gemeente Enschede weten in een reactie. ‘Enschede groeit, we verwachten dat de vraag gaat toenemen.’

The ankle injuries of former professional footballer Marco van Basten, who is the subject of the recently released series BASTA, are at the centre of research by UT and Amsterdam UMC. The researchers are working on new methods to detect ankle damage at an earlier stage.
