Employees of the University of Twente, who want to improve their English technical writing skills, can now apply for a new course, Technical Writing and Editing. Participants will learn how to write high-quality scientific papers with an emphasis not just on language, but on the topics of how to structure a paper and present results. Starting in March, there will be morning and afternoon classes available and participation is free for UT employees.

The ankle injuries of former professional footballer Marco van Basten, who is the subject of the recently released series BASTA, are at the centre of research by UT and Amsterdam UMC. The researchers are working on new methods to detect ankle damage at an earlier stage.
