On the UT campus there are two organizations designed specifically to serve the needs of PhD candidates and master's students: P-NUT and ESN Twente, respectively.

The goal of the PhD Network University of Twente (P-NUT) is to inform all PhD students about the UT, to serve their interests and to be a platform and spokesperson for them concerning UT-related issues.

ESN Twente is a member of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN). The goal of the organization is to improve the circumstances for international students. They are especially adept at providing cultural and social outings.
