Independent journalism at the University of Twente
Rita Schoenmaker-Kippers, secretaresse bij de dienst Strategie & Communicatie, nam afgelopen maand afscheid van de UT na een dienstverband van 46 jaar. Tijdens een afscheidsborrel en -etentje met collega's, vorige week donderdag in parklocatie De Jaargetijden, werd zij verrast door CvB-voorzitter Anne Flierman, die haar de Julianapenning van de UT overhandigde.
Rita Schoenmaker kwam op 1 juni 1964 in dienst van de toenmalige Technische Hogeschool Twente, als `schrijver'. In haar lange loopbaan werkte zij als secretaresse voor verschillende afdelingen, waaronder het stafbureau en het college van bestuur.
