From Monday 31 October onwards registration for the upcoming Batavierenrace -which will take place on 28 April 2012 - opens. The Batavierenrace is a relay race for students stretching over 175 km from Nijmegen to Enschede, divided into 25 stages (17 men's stages and 8 women's stages) varying from 3.3 km to 11.2 km. Part of the race is through Germany.

The Batavierenrace is a relay race for students stretching over 175 km from Nijmegen to Enschede, divided into 25 stages (17 men's stages and 8 women's stages) varying from 3.3 km to 11.2 km. Part of the race is through Germany. Commonly, over 7,500 students dispersed in 300 teams join, which got the race a listing in the Guinness Book of Records.
