Reactions of sorrow from Chinese students
On the other side of the world while thousands of UT students were sleeping in their beds, an 8.0-magnitude earthquake rattled the mainland of China on May 12, and in its sobering wake, the death toll continues to rise. According to estimations from Chinese officials, around 62,000 people are confirmed dead, hundreds of thousands more are injured, and 23,000 are still believed to be missing.
