Severe reorganisation operation is coming

The final Berenschot-report on the reorganisation of the UT will be published this week, but last week it was already known that the organisation will have to take some fierce blows. The Executive Board (CvB) prepared the University Council for a short but severe reorganisation operation: before 1 December the contours of the new-style UT should have become clear. And as the CvB has told the consulting body for personnel, the OPUT, forced dismissals are not ruled out.

Internationale masters van start

Maandag 10 september werd op de hoogste etage van de WB-toren het officiele startsein gegeven voor de internationale mastersopleiding 'Industrial Design and Manufacturing'. Deze tweejarige engelstalige opleiding is een gezamenlijk initiatief van de faculteit Construerende Technische Wetenschappen in Twente en de faculteit Maschinenbau van de Universiteit Dortmund. Oplossing kamernood nog niet in zicht
