The week will provide a global look at the international experience: why go abroad? What are the possibilities? What do you need to know about cultural differences and how to overcome them? Also addressed is the 'how can I get to study abroad' question: information about study possibilities abroad, internships, graduation; how can the university assist you with these choices? And finally answers are given to the to the question 'how can I take part in the international activities on campus?' Internationally oriented student organisations will present themselves, and you can find out information about welcoming and guiding international students at the university.
The programme of the week will consist of an international breakfast with the rector, a symposium, cultural assessment workshops, an information market, international music, dance and food festival and much, much more. The week will end with a lecture by the Dutch Prime Minister Mr. Wim Kok.
For the organisation of this week a steering group of Dutch and non-Dutch students works together with the International Office, the Student Union, the PITS organisations and the Anniversary committee.
