The cultural summer sleep is now over. On Monday 3 September the Cultural Season 2001-2002 of the Vrijhof Cultuurcentrum will start with performances, exhibitions, courses and workshops!

On Monday 3 September Klaas with his comedy performance Extreem (in Dutch) opens the series Broodjes Cultuur (Culture Sandwich). In the Amphitheater in the Vrijhof, as always at 12.35 hr.

At 17.35 we will drink a glass of champagne in the Theatercafé to show our appreciation of the two wonderful murals painted there over the summer by artist Moniek Rutten.

At 20.15 The R'chestra , winner of the Broodje Cultuur Popular Vote 2001, will perform the musical show Echoes of everywhere in the Amphitheater.

After that Roald Lingbeek and Martijn Olijslagers will play piano and saxophone in the Theatercafé.

Bijna een kwart van de gediplomeerden in het hbo en wo heeft een deel van de studie in het buitenland gedaan, blijkt uit nieuwe cijfers van het CBS. Nu het weer kan gaan ze vaker over de grens studeren.

Lest best: Solar Team Twente wint ruimschoots in Zolder

Het team van oud-leden van Solar Team Twente heeft de 24-uursrace van de iLumen European Solar Challenge gewonnen op het circuit van Zolder in België. Met de RED E, de zonneauto uit 2019, wist het team 320 ronden in de Challengerklasse te voltooien, waarmee ze tegenstanders Innoptus Leuven en Top Dutch Groningen achter zich lieten.

Saving the best for last: Solar Team Twente wins by a wide margin in Zolder

A team of former Solar Team Twente members has won the 24-hour iLumen European Solar Challenge at Circuit Zolder in Belgium. Driving the RED E, the team’s 2019 solar car, they completed 320 laps in the Challenger class, finishing ahead of rivals Innoptus Leuven and Top Dutch Groningen.
