The organising committee, consisting of an Indian, Israeli, Finnish, Australian and even some Dutch students, has come up with a varied menu. The International Office and the internationally oriented student organisations (PITS) amongst other things present symposia, information on other countries, parties and international dishes. Rector Van Vught will set the ball rolling during his monthly breakfast with students and Prime Minister Wim Kok serves a lecture and discussion on the expansion of the European Union as a dessert later on in the week.
The International Week is part of the UT Anniversary as well as of the national studying abroad campaign of the Nuffic. The Nuffic is the Dutch organisation for international co-operation in higher education.
