The International Office aims to make your stay at the University of Twente and in the Netherlands as pleasant as possible. It is the place to go when you need information or guidance, when you have questions or problems. We can provide you with various kinds of information on the university, the facilities on campus, the cities of Enschede and Hengelo, maps, brochures, guides and booklets etc. The International Office is situated on the second floor of the Vrijhof, room 206. Dutch course

for AIO's

and PhD's

Are you an AIO or PhD student and would you like to learn Dutch? The International Office now offers intensive Dutch language and culture courses for AIO's and PhD students. A course takes one week, with lectures and study time from 09.00 to 17.00 and deals both with Dutch language as well as Dutch culture. The courses are given in the Vrijhof, on the university campus. Postdoc network secures grant to improve social safety at UT

The Postdoc Network @ UT, in collaboration with HR and the DEI Office and supported by PE-NUT, secured a grant of 170 thousand euros to improve social safety for postdocs, PhD and EngD students. Novel-T, de organisatie op de campus voor ondernemerschap en innovatie, verhuist eind 2027 naar de kop van gebouw Langezijds. Volgens directeur Roy Spit moet die nieuwe locatie de universiteit helpen om ‘het ondernemende karakter af te stoffen’.
