Thought-provoking lunch

| Redactie

Last Thursday, University Council Party UReka organized a `thought-provoking' brainstorm lunch in the Bastille. The participants could switch freely between several parallel discussions. Some of the positions discussed: the Executive Board is way too ambitious: 10000 students by 2010 is impossible; the UT should focus on the quality of education; the requirements for HBO students enrolling in a master's program should be much more stringent; there is no link between student grants and extra-curricular activities; third year bachelor's education should be completely in English; there should be an end to lectures; downloading illegal software, music or movies by students, even from campusnet, should be dealt with severely.
