MSO summer concert
The Musica Silvestra Orchestra - the student symphony orchestra of Twente - will play the Rosamunde overture by Schubert, the Karelia overture by Sibelius and the Manfred overture by Schumann. Finally, MSO will accompany concert pianist Jeroen Hulshof for the second piano concert of Rachmaninov. Gerard Neurink will be conducting.

Arabesque dances Elements
Arabesque, a modern dance troupe, will perform `Elements.' All that we see and feel is built from elements. Different mixes ensure that everything is unique and the possibilities endless. Choreographers have been inspired in their own way by the elements theme and produced a diverse program of modern dance.

Kringzingers
Sacred and profane. From Isaac, Lassus, Farmer, Desprez and other composers of the 15th and 16th century, the Kringzingers, the staff choir of the University of Twente, will sing chansons and madrigals from many countries and in many languages. Drienerloos Vocaal Ensemble (DVE) will perform religious material and delve deep in the anonymity of the dark ages and Latin repertoire. Even then, composers used music from the past.
DVE is conducted by Valentijn Smit, the Kringzingers by Mariette Effing. Fitting musical intermezzos will be provided by local recorder ensemble Meneer Jansen. This quartet of music lovers previously performed with the Kringzingers.

4 Happy Feet
Dancing with the Stars? More like Dancing with the Students! The student ballroom dancing club, 4 Happy Feet, will flaunt their fancy feet, showcasing all the snazzy steps they've mastered this year. Drop in at your leisure to catch a foxtrot or a samba.

Enschede Music Festival
