Telephone deal

The Student Union has signed a contract with Wireless Circle, a phone company based in Rotterdam. The deal is especially good for students. Marlous Boenders of the SU predicts favorable subscriptions and calling rates. The deal will also give the Union funding for activities like the symposium `Student Under Construction' held last week in the Vrijhof. At this conference nine businesses gave workshops on skill development. Boenders: `They gave tips & tricks for job interviews. Students also got the chance to participate in games and tests and answer questionnaires. These gave them insight into their own skills, something that is of much use during job interviews.'

Fietsvrije Boulevard, kunstwerk verdwijnt en Drienerloweg flink op de schop

Meer groen, betere verkeersdoorstroming en meer ruimte voor ontspanning. Dat is kort samengevat het metamorfoseplan voor de Boulevard en de Oude Drienerloweg. In maart 2027 beginnen de werkzaamheden.

Tweede Kamer akkoord met tweede tegemoetkoming pechstudenten

De pechstudenten van het leenstelsel krijgen inderdaad een tweede tegemoetkoming van de overheid. Daar heeft een ruime meerderheid van de Tweede Kamer dinsdag mee ingestemd.
